Sandra Lee (Witmer) Steffey

Sandra Lee Steffey, 69, Homer City died Monday, May 28, 2018 at her residence. She was the daughters of the late Harry David and Ellen Mae (Tirney) Witmer and was born February 4, 1949 in Indiana, PA. Sandy was a neighborhood mom and a great wife. Always took care of everyone, family meant everything to her, the Greatest Mom Ever. She was a homemaker for several years and then she was self employed. She is survived by her husband, Melvin Steffey; three children, son, David (Lisa) Steffey; daughter, Vickie (Richard) Lubold; and daughter, Christina (David) Dies; five grandchildren, Shelly Bost, Jonathan Aaron, Cruz (Amber) Santiago, Cory (Summer) Santiago and Matthew Steffey. She is also survived by three great grandchildren, Declan Santiago, Ava Aaron and Olivia Santiago, three sisters, Kathy Witmer, Vicki (Thomas) Smerker, Donna (Bill) Shirley and two brothers, Benjamin Witmer, Robert (Edna) Witmer and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Harry Witmer Jr., Richard Witmer, and Walter Witmer and half sister, Estella Smith and half brother, Dick Witmer. She was also preceded in death by her great grandson Kai Santiago. Private family graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family. Thank you goes to the VNA Hospice nurses.
