Stephen Bondra

Stephen Bondra, 85, Josephine died June 14, 2015 at St. Andrews Village. He was the son of the late Peter and Susie (Sutyak) Bondra Sr. and was born October 1, 1929 in Fort Palmer, PA. He was a member of Our Lady of the Assumption. Mr. Bondra was a retired Coal Miner. Mr. Bondra is survived by his son, Stephen J. Bondra and wife Donna of Penn Hills and three daughters, Annette M. Bondra, Francine A. Bondra and Marian S. Bondra all of Josephine. He is also survived by two grandchildren, Amanda and Zachary Chick and John and Sarah Lentini and two great grandchildren, Teddy Lentini and Silas Chick; his sister, Sue Kokolis, Homer City and brother Joseph Bondra, Cleveland, OH. Many nieces and nephews also survive him. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn A. Bondra and his daughter Monica Lentini; several brothers and one sister. Friends will be received Tuesday from 9:30 AM until time of Blessing service at 10:30 AM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Coral Site with Rev. Fr. Ron Cyktor, the celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Francis Cemetery, Coral.
