Thomas "Buldge" Arford

Thomas John (Buldge) Arford, 60, went to be with the LORD on August 31, 2012. Tom is the son of John Thomas Arford and Geraldine (Miller) Arford of Homer City. He was born November 11, 1951 in Indiana. Tom was a member of the Independent Traditional Holiness Church. He also was a Scripture chairman for many years with the local camp of the Gideons. He was previously employed by Sun Oil (Sunoco) for 25 years and managed Red Head and Sunoco on Wayne Avenue in Indiana. Tom graduated from Homer Center Schools in 1969. Tom is survived by his parents, John and Geraldine (Miller) Arford of Homer City. Brothers Kenneth Arford and wife Bille (Cook) of Penn Run, Brian Arford and fiance Doris Pisarcik of Indiana. One Sister Connie Rae (Arford) Stuckich and husband Dennis of Armagh. He was also survived by various nieces and nephews and his two loving dogs, Rusty and Shadow. Toms Special friends were Fred and Antia Stevens, Amber and Betty George. He was preceded in death by his wife Cora Ellen (Burkey) Arford on May, 6, 2009. Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Services will be held Tuesday at 11 AM at the funeral home with Rev. Charles Williamson, officiating. Interment to follow in the Oakland Cemetery. Contributions may be sent to the Independent Traditional Holiness Church at 5065 Ferguson Road, Indiana, PA 15701
