Timothy "Tim" A. Bennett

Timothy A. Bennett, 51, New Holland, formerly of Homer City died February 2, 2020 at WellSpan York Hospital. Tim was son of the late Donald and Rose (Winters) Bennett Sr. and was born September 26, 1968 in Spangler.

Tim liked collecting Superman and The Wizard of Oz memorabilia and Walmart shopping for bargains. He loved animals, especially his dogs, Rocco and Lucky and his cat Angel.  He was employed by Reading Truck Body.

Tim is survived by his fiancée, Monica Stephens; siblings, Wyatt (Betty) Bennett, Lock Haven; Donald (June Truitt) Bennett Jr., Waterman; Lawrence Bennett, Homer City; Jannie (Ed Morningstar) Capitosti, Black Lick; Sonja (Andy) Fisette, Texas and Art (Bobbie Bowser) Bennett, Homer City.  He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Janet Stephens, Strongstown and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Jon, brothers-in-laws, Rich Capitosti and Francis Ondriezek and father-in law, John Stephens.

Friends will be received Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday at 1 PM in the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home Chapel.
