Vincent P. Mayausky

Vincent P. Mayausky, 94, Homer City died October 14, 2012 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home. He was the son of the late Stanley and Mary (Udicious) Mayausky and was born November 7, 1917 in Lucernemines. Mr. Mayausky was a retired coal miner and a member of UMWA Local #488, he was also a member Our Lady of the Assumption Parish. He is survived by his 3 children Vincent Jr. and wife Donna of Indiana, Catherine Ondo of Homer City and John Jack Mayausky and wife Doris of Connecticut.; 5 grandchildren Jeffrey Mayausky, Eric and Melissa Ondo, Aaron Mayausky and Kaylin Roy; 3 great grandchildren Jordan and Madison Ondo and Dylan Roy. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Joanna (Mattio), grandson Christopher, 3 brothers Joseph, Leonard and Bernard Mayausky, 4 sisters Mary Gonda, Sarah Goss, Amelia Stopa and Helen Buzinski. Friends will be received Wednesday from 4-7PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. A Blessing Service will be held Thursday morning at 9:30 AM at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM at Our Lady of the Assumption Parish, Lucernemines Site with Rev. Father Ron Cyktor, the celebrant. Interment to follow in the St. Bernard Cemetery, Indiana.
