Virgil E. McAdoo

Virgil E. McAdoo, age 81, of Homer City died May 5, 2019. Virgil was born on March 23, 1938 in Indiana, Pa and was the son of William and Elsie (Gardner) McAdoo. Virgil was a member of the Red Barn Sportsmans Club and a social member of the American Legion, both of Homer City. Virgil was formerly employed by Season-All, Indiana, Pa and Tito Beverages in Homer City. Virgil is survived by 1 son Forrest McAdoo, Homer City; daughter Darlene McAdoo, Homer City, Elsie Rouser and husband George, Homer City and Cindy Skultety and husband Bob, Homer City. He is also survived by 6 Grandchildren and 7 Great Grandchildren. Surviving also are 5 brothers; Bill McAdoo and wife Alice, Jamestown, NY; Larry McAdoo and wife Vicky, Lucernemines; Gary McAdoo and wife Diana, Indiana; Timothy McAdoo and wife Tina, Homer City; Randy McAdoo; Homer City and 4 sisters Shirley Ferraro, Indiana; Janice Murphy and husband Bob, Homer City; Regina Murphy and husband George, Armagh; and Margie Brewer and husband Edward, Lucernemines. Virgil was preceded in death by parents and sister Lydia Rothrock. Friends will be received on Tuesday at 5:00 pm until time of service at 7:00 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City with the Rev. R. A. Wallace, officiating. Interment will be at a later date.
