Vivian Adamsky

Vivian Faye (Hazlett) Adamsky, 85, of Indiana, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully on July 11, 2026, at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home in Indiana. Born on April 11, 1941, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Ford and Cora Hazlett.

Vivian devoted her life to her family as a homemaker. She was a faithful member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church and found great joy in spending time with those she loved. She especially enjoyed traveling and cherished the many trips she made to Texas to visit her family, creating memories that will be treasured for years to come.

She is survived by her daughters, Vicky Mandwee of Indiana, Pennsylvania, and Sandra Adamsky and her spouse, Betty Scott, of Houston, Texas; her son-in-law, James Baker; her grandchildren, Lennon and spouse Lisette, Leith, Sawyer, Sydney and spouse Nick, Justin and spouse Ashley, and Bri-Ana; her great-grandchildren, Michael, Emma, Londyn, Leilana, Marquintin Jr., Kairo, and Kamren; and several other loving family members.

In addition to her parents, Vivian was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Kelly (Adamsky) Baker; her brothers, Leonard Hazlett, Raymond Hazlett, and Eugene Hazlett; and her sisters, Mildred Schuster, Betty Lahn, Marie Hazlett, Ethel Houser, Thelma Lucas, and Dorothy Faith.

Family and friends will be received on Saturday, July 18, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at Bowser Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., Homer City. 

Vivian will be remembered for her quiet strength, unwavering love for her family, and the kindness she extended to everyone she met. Her memory will be cherished always by those who knew and loved her.
