Walter A Novak

Walter “Bud” “Crack” A. Novak, 69, of Homer City, passed away on Friday, January 31, 2020 at Beacon Ridge Nursing Home, Indiana.

He was the son of Walter F. Novak and June L. (Poole) Novak, who preceded him in death.

Walt was a coal miner and enjoyed spending time outdoors and with his dog Junior.

He is survived by his children, Suzanne Novak, of Ernest, Alex Novak, of Ernest, and Paul Novak, of Indiana; grandchild, Andrew Novak, of Sewickley; ex-wife, Mary Novak, of Ernest; brother, James (Harriet) Manning, of Whippany, NJ, brother, Stanley (Kathleen) Novak, of Homer City, brother, Chester Novak, of Blacklick; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Memorial for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 8, 2020 at American Legion Post 493 in Homer City from noon to 3:00 pm.
