William "Bill" J. Bowman, 70 of Graceton went to be with the LORD on November 30, 2013 at the Indiana Regional Medical Center. He was born June 4, 1943 in Jeannette, PA and was the son of Paul "Mo" and Catherine (Capar) Bowman. He worked for 37 years at Laminated Products in Greensburg making custom cabinets. Even after being confined to a wheelchair he continued his love of woodworking and making beautiful things for his family that will always be treasured. He attended the Christian and Missionary Alliance church in Homer City. He is survived by his loving wife of 38 years Linda (Bush) Bowman; daughters, Michelle Bowman of Graceton and Nicole Elery and husband Charles of Homer City; step granddaughter, Xaiver Elery; brother, Paul Bowman of Grapeville; Sister-in-law's, Loretta Shaffer of Blairsville and Betty Quick of Houtzdale. He is also survived by a special nephew Jeff Bowman of Grapeville and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Betty Wise and husband Charles and Robert Bowman and wife Barbara. Friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Services will be held Wednesday at 11AM at the funeral home with Pastors Tom Whipple and Ronald Wallace, co-officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, Homer City.
