Arthur Samuel Trunzo

Arthur Samuel Trunzo, 99, Homer City, went home to be with the Lord on Monday October 16, 2017. Born July 18, 1918 in Homer City, the son of the late Dominic and Christina (Ciranni) Trunzo. He attended Homer city high School. He worked at Tide Mine, Ernest Machine Shop, was a car salesman, encyclopedia salesman, and retired from Helen Mine. On October 21, 1940 he married Betha Lois Bennett and they raised three children. Art enjoyed spending time with his family, attending events at the senior center, attending Blacklick watershed meetings, going to softball games, and spending time with Forrest and his buddies at Sansos. He is survived by his Children; Frederic Gerald (Marty Mills) Trunzo; Christine (Jim) Cummins; and Thomas (Sharon) Trunzo. Grandchildren; Jeff (Melissa) Forsha, Fred Trunzo Jr; Jill (George) Endress; and Darcy Trunzo. Great grandchildren; Austin and Mariah Forsha; Brendan Chesebrough, Dakota and Ryan Endress; and Kyle (Rachelle) McTavish. Great-great grandchildren; Henley, Kennedy and Bellamy McTavish, several nieces and a nephew. Also special friends Sandy and Ted Pluchinsky, and Forrest Harris. He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, brothers and sisters. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at the C Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City. Friends will also be received Thursday from 10 AM until time of service at 11 AM at the Homer City United Methodist Church. Interment to follow in the Oakland Cemetery, Indiana.
