Jenny Margaret (Piccolini) Reid

Jenny Margaret Reid, 90, Homer City died Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Communities of Indian Haven. She was the daughter of the late Antonio and Mary (Battestilli) Piccolini and was born April 11, 1928 in Homer City. Jenny with her husband was the owner and operator of the Out of the Way Inn, Homer City, Deacon at the United Presbyterian Church, Homer City where she was a member, and a member of the Elks and the Sons of Italy. She loved to camp and travel, having traveled along with her husband, to every state in the continental United States, she loved spending time with her family and would plan reunions to gather her family together. Jenny is survived by her two sons, William Tyler and wife Mary Lou (Zicha) Reid, Indiana, Anthony Eugene and wife Connie (Hockin) Reid, Indiana; two grandchildren, Ryan Anthony and wife Allyssa Reid, Peoria, AZ and Kelly Blair, Indiana. She is also survived by her three great grandchildren, Cole and Jack Reid and Lyla Blair and her brother, Paul and his wife Mary Jane Piccolini, Homer City. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert Eugene Reid who died, May 19, 2010. Friends will be received Tuesday from 11AM until time of service at noon at the C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City with Rev. R.A. Wallace, officiating. Interment to follow in the Greenwood Cemetery, Indiana. In lieu of flowers, contribution may be made to a charity of your choice in Jenny name.
