Miriam T Staffen

Miriam T. Staffen, 67, Indiana died Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Indiana Regional Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Andrew and Theresa (Mester) Kenosh and was born March 10, 1944 in Pittsburgh. Mrs. Staffen was a member of St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church and an IUP Graduate. Miriam was retired from First Commonwealth bank. She was a loving mother and devoted wife. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling, and Pittsburgh sports.She is survived by her husband Richard;3 children - Susan and husband Randy Reinard of Elizabethtown, PA;Richard Staffen and wife Amy of Madison, WI and Keith Staffen and wife Jennifer of Fort Lauderdale, FL;One granddaughter - Bella Staffen.There will be no visitation at the request of Mrs. Staffen.A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2011 at 11AM at St. Bernard of Clairvaux Roman Catholic Church, Indiana. Interment to follow in the St. Bernard Mausoleum. C. Frederick Bowser Funeral Home, Homer City are in charge of arrangements.
